Why Digital Health Education Matters

Not every community can be reached by a mobile clinic, but nearly everyone can be reached by a phone. Afya Nzuri Network launched a series of 25 visual health education campaigns on social media to extend our impact far beyond the communities we visit in person.

What the Campaigns Cover

Each campaign uses a clear, shareable graphic paired with an accessible health message. The series spans five thematic areas:

Non-Communicable Diseases

Campaigns on hypertension, diabetes, healthy eating, reducing sugar intake, choosing the right fats, and the importance of regular health check-ups.

Mental Health and Wellbeing

Messages about emotional expression, building supportive social networks, the dangers of drug and substance abuse, stress management, and the importance of play and rest.

Family and Child Protection

Campaigns addressing domestic violence, child abuse, the importance of parental presence, and creating safe home environments for children.

Environmental Health

Posts on tree planting for cleaner air, responsible waste disposal, and the link between environmental quality and community health.

Nutrition and Lifestyle

Practical advice on breakfast, balanced meals, physical exercise, and reducing alcohol and tobacco consumption.

How to Explore Them

All 25 campaigns are available on our Health Education page, where you can browse by topic, read the full message behind each graphic, and share them with your community.

Share the Knowledge

Health education works best when it travels. Share these campaigns on your own social media, in WhatsApp groups, or with community leaders. Every share has the potential to change a life.
